FRESNO, Calif. - The 2nd-ranked Fresno Pacific men's tennis team continued their hot start to the season by beating 9th-ranked Concordia 8-1 at the Haak Tennis Center on Saturday afternoon.

The Sunbirds are perfect on the season at 6-0 (3-0 GSAC).  The Eagles drop to 2-2 (1-1 GSAC) on the year.

Sunbird senior Marco Foelz picked up his first singles victory of 2009 with a convincing 6-2, 6-1 win over the Eagles' Tom Young at the No. 5 position.  Foelz is the last remaining member of the inaugural Sunbird tennis team that began competition in the fall of 2005.

Fresno Pacific looks to remain unbeaten in the GSAC when they face No. 12 Point Loma University (2-2, 1-2 GSAC) at the Haak Tennis Center on Saturday, February 28th at 2:00pm.
