Personal - Marco hails from Hamburg, Germany...He is the son of Wilhelm and Margit Foelz...He transfered to FPU from the University of Hamburg and De Anza College...He enjoys music, movies, friends and sports...Marco is a Buisness Management major.

Prior to FPU - Marco has played in numerous tournaments and championships...He was the Hamburg Team Champion 5 times, repeated singles and doubles champion, and won 33 singles tournaments...He had the highest ranking of #19 in DTB Juniors.

As a freshman (2005-06) - He achieved a 15-7 singles record and 12-14 doubles record... He spent most of his time in the fourth and fifth slots (11-6) for the Sunbirds...He finished the year with a NAIA ITA #15 ranking with partner Matt Carroll...He registered 10 GSAC wins with a .909 GSAC win percentage, including an 11-game win streak... He was named an NAIA All-American Scholar Athlete.

As a sophomore (2006-07) - Marco achieved a 13-5 singles record and a 10-12 doubles record with partner Victor Medina…He spent most of the year in the #3 slot for the Sunbirds.
