FRESNO, Calif. – Fresno Pacific's men's and women's tennis programs were recognized for their success in the classroom as both teams earned Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team honors, while 18 Sunbirds were named ITA Scholar-Athletes for the 2025-2026 season.
The ITA All-Academic Team distinction is awarded to programs that achieve a cumulative team GPA of at least 3.20 during the academic year. Individually, ITA Scholar-Athletes must maintain a minimum 3.50 GPA while remaining listed on their institution's eligibility form.
Ten Sunbirds of the men's program earned ITA Scholar-Athlete recognition, including Cedric Kaufmann, Ryoma Okamoto, Hayden Westlake, Angel España, Joaquin Salinas, Jordi Gonzalez, Ezra Betancourt, Emilio Seelbach, Felix Devallius, and Tim Bangert.
On the women's side, Lily Villagomez, Fabiana Gonzalez, Emma Jenan, Yume Ueoku, Jessica McLean, Leonie Gottwald, Halle Faherty, and Malia Mitchell were each recognized as ITA Scholar-Athletes.
