ABOUT FPU ATHLETICS COMPLIANCE
Fresno Pacific University has a rich history of success in intercollegiate athletics. Not only is the University committed to building upon that history, but it is also committed to maintaining a high level of integrity throughout its athletics program. For this reason, it is imperative that the FPU Athletics Compliance Office oversees institutional control, which includes monitoring the actions of coaches, staff, student-athletes, and administration.
To ensure that you are doing your part to help the Sunbirds win the right way, the NCAA membership has established rules which all student-athletes, coaches, staff, administrators, prospective student-athletes, alumni, boosters, parents, and friends should be aware of. By assisting FPU in rules compliance, you are not only contributing to the integrity of the program, but you are also protecting the eligibility of Sunbird student-athletes.

If you have any questions regarding NCAA rules, please contact our Compliance Office staff before taking part in an activity that could potentially jeopardize FPU Athletics or an FPU student-athlete's participation in intercollegiate athletics.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS OF FPU ATHLETICS COMPLIANCE
- To provide instruction regarding NCAA and Conference Office rules and regulations to Fresno Pacific University coaches, administrators, staff, student-athletes, prospective student-athletes and boosters.
- To provide guidance to Fresno Pacific University coaches, administrators, staff, student-athletes, prospective student-athletes and boosters by providing accurate interpretations of NCAA and Conference Office rules.
- To monitor activities such as recruiting, eligibility certification, financial aid, amateurism, benefits, and playing and practice season limitations, to ensure compliance with all relevant rules and regulations.
- To investigate and report any major or secondary NCAA or Conference rules violations in a timely manner.
