MONMOUTH, Ore. – The Fresno Pacific men's basketball team was tripped up on Saturday night, falling 123-67 against Western Oregon in the final game of the 2017 West Region Crossover Classic.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
• Western Oregon controlled the opening tip, and Darius Luborn came away with the first bucket of the night. Â
• The Sunbirds shot 45% from the floor in the first half, but the Wolves offense hit a rhythm early, knocking down 68% of their shots in the first 20 minutes.
• Demetrius Trammell and Riley Hawken combined for 31 in the first with on 11-of-12 shooting, helping WOU carry a 62-32 lead into the intermission.

Toby Christensen connected on each attempt from the floor in the second half to give the Sunbirds nine points.

STATS OF THE GAME:
• Christensen finished his night with a team-best 13 points, while
Rafail Eleftheriou followed with 12. Â

Adrian Antunez was perfect from the charity stripe to become the fourth Sunbird in double-figures for the night.
• Trammell led all scorers with 26 points as one of five Wolves in double-figures. Â
• Western Oregon out-rebounded FPU 38-24 while winning the turnover battle by a margin of 17-10.
• The Wolves finished 23-of-36 from three and finished at 67 percent from the floor in the win.

• The Sunbirds have had four players score in double-figures in both of their first two games to start the season.
