Prior to FPU - Spent two years playing at Cuesta College under head coach Rusty Blair....captained a 22-10 team his sophomore year....finished the year shooting 40 percent from three and averaged 10.8 points and 6.7 rebounds per game....named to the All Conference Team in 2015-16....prepped at Mandoulides Schools, where he played basketball for three years under head coach Dimitris Nicolaides....won three consecutive National Championships....also competed on the soccer and boxing teams.

Personal - Son of Andreas and Magda Eleftheriou....has one sibling, Evrydiki....chose FPU because it is a great school with a perfect environment....greatest sports thrill thus far was playing for two years in a row on the national team of his country....friend on another college team is Roberto Mantovani (Robert Morris)....person he most admires is his dad....likes to eat kebabs....listens to Pantelis Pantelidis by Greek Singer....roots for AEL Limassol Soccer Club....enjoys watching The 300....favorite athlete is Conor McGregor....person he would most like to meet is Kobe Bryant....hobbies include watching UFC and playing soccer....Rafail is a kinesiology major who hopes to become a professional basketball player.
