Fresno, Calif. – The 14th Sunbirds had their two-match win streak snapped in a 5-4 loss to No. 31 Point Loma.

FPU split the six singles matches winning at the No. 1, 3 and 5 spots. No. 14 Petra Jurova secured a 7-5, 6-0 straight-set win at No. 1 singles over Maika Adair. All six singles matches were finished in straight sets. Laure-Anne Josso won her third consecutive match 6-4, 6-2 over Hillary Ramage at No. 5 singles.

With the match on the line in doubles Fresno Pacific got a quick 8-0 shutout win at No. 1 doubles from Jurova and Angelika Sobiecka, but Point Loma came back to take the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles matches by identical 8-3 scores.

The Sunbirds will face Hawaii Pacific, Armstrong Atlantic and Midwestern State in Las Vegas, Nev. at the Las Vegas Spring Classic starting on Monday.
