Fresno Pacific steamrolled its way through La Mirada taking down former GSAC rival Biola 8-1 to open up a three-game Southern California road trip.
The Sunbirds got off to a solid start taking two of the three doubles matches thanks to wins by

Teddy Renard. Renard played in his first match as a Sunbird filling in for
Michael Tymkiw in doubles and secured the win at No. 3 doubles 8-4.
FPU dominated the singles portion of the match sweeping all six matches and completely shutting out the Eagles at three spots. Loop, Urquidi and Aguilar all scored 6-0, 6-0 wins over their opponents while playing one spot up in the lineup with the absence of
Kyle Rowe in singles.
Michael Tymkiw wrapped up a tidy 6-3, 6-4 straight-set victory at No. 1 singles, and
Daniel Gianopulos took down Greg Cobain 6-2, 6-1 in his first match of the season.
The Sunbirds will continue a road trip down south as they take on #48 Point Loma and #14 UC San Diego this weekend.
