SAN DIEGO, CA. - The Fresno Pacific men's basketball team earned another big win after defeating Point Loma Nazarene 83-63 Saturday afternoon in San Diego. The Sunbirds dominated the Sea Lions from beginning to end while improving to 18-5 overall, and 8-5 in the GSAC.
Senior guard
James Lewis Jr. had another standout perfromance for FPU with a game-high 31 points on the night. Lewis netted 15 points in the first nine minutes to help the Sunbirds gain the early advantage.
Senior forward
Todd Brown also contributed with 17 points and six rebounds, while senior guard
Alex Davenport put up double-digits as well with 10 points in the contest.
"We are really starting to score the ball well with this being our third consecutive game to score over 80 points, " credited FPU assistant coach Chris Wright. "When we do that, we are hard to beat."
