FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno Pacific men's basketball team was recognized for its commitment to academic excellence by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC), earning the 2025-26 NABC Team Academic Excellence Award while placing seven student-athletes on the NABC Honors Court.
The NABC Team Academic Excellence Award recognizes programs that finished the 2025-26 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. Fresno Pacific was one of more than 400 programs nationwide to receive the distinction.
In addition to the team honor, seven Sunbirds earned spots on the NABC Honors Court, which recognizes junior, senior, and graduate student men's basketball players who achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher during the academic year. More than 2,300 student-athletes across the country received the recognition in 2025-26.
Representing the 'Birds on the NABC Honors Court were juniors Amar Hot (Business Administration), Gavyn Cirricione (Business Administration), Nick Davidson (Business Administration), Seth Brown (Business Administration), and Tyler Parr (Applied Mathematics), senior Ryan Braam (Business Administration), and graduate student Jaden Geron (Psychology).
