FRESNO, Calif. - The 2nd-ranked Sunbirds men's tennis team scored a 9-0 win over host Biola in La Mirada on Thursday. Fresno Pacific swept the doubles against the Eagles, and clinched the match on Nicolas Ernst's 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 5 singles over Biola's Dan Westman.
Fresno Pacific improves to 4-0 (2-0 GSAC), while Biola's record stands at 0-3 (0-2 GSAC).
The Sunbirds return to the Haak Tennis Center this week to host two matches. NCAA Division II opponent, Sonoma State (2-5), will face Fresno Pacific on Friday, February 20th at 2:00pm. GSAC foe, 9th-ranked Concordia (2-1, 1-0 GSAC), will battle the Sunbirds on Saturday, February 21st at 2:00pm.
