FRESNO, Calif. - The Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) announced the All-America Teams for Division II Women's Water Polo on Tuesday morning. Fresno Pacific's
Emma Cook scored a spot on the First Team All-American list after her dynamic leadership in the water.
A force in the pool all season long, the senior Sunbird cemented herself as one of the top attackers in the WWPA conference. The First Team All-WWPA selection led the Sunbirds in shots (116), goals (47), and drawn exclusions (34), while finishing 10th in the conference in total goals scored. She delivered 12 multi-goal performances, recorded four hat tricks, and caught fire during a dominant four-game stretch with four goals in each contest. Her biggest performance came against Whittier, where she exploded for a career-high six goals, showcasing the offensive firepower that made her one of the most dangerous scorers in the pool.
Thanks to her steadfast contribution, the Fresno Pacific women's water polo team won the round robin consolation bracket, securing fifth place at the WWPA Championships! The Lady 'Birds closed out the season 9-19 overall and 2-6 in WWPA play.
