GILBERT, Ariz.- Announced on Tuesday by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, the Fresno Pacific men's and women's tennis teams have earned 2025 ITA NCAA Division II All-Academic Team accolades, one of 76 Division II teams to achieve the honor for the men and . This academic year, the Fresno Pacific men posted a GPA of 3.59, while the women recorded a cumlative GPA of 3.79, the highest of all Fresno Pacific athletic's teams.
To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, programs must meet the following requirements:
- Have a team grade point average of 3.2 or above (on a 4.00 scale),
- All student-athletes included should be listed on the institutional eligibility form, and
- All varsity letter winners should be factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year
In addition, a total of 17 Sunbird student-athletes – 11 men's players and six women's players – earned 2025 ITA D-II Scholar-Athlete honors.
To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, one must meet the following requirements:
- Have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year
- Be listed on the institutional eligibility form
