SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – A balanced attack led the Fresno Pacific women's water polo team to their first win of the season, as 11 Sunbirds scored in a 21-3 victory over Cuesta College on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED:  

• The Sunbirds scored the first 10 goals of the match unanswered by the Cougars.
• Amy Zaninovich, Hannah Gish and Madison Jacques each scored a team-high three goals.
• Sam Dieterle, Rosemary Chapman, Bella Alcazar and Katie Kisling each found the back of the net twice.
• Dani Chastain, Emily Lopez-Ibarra, Willow Brown and Lily Dinis scored once.
• Defensively, Cameron Berra led the 'Birds with four saves and two steals.
• Bailee Poole and Jet Salazar-Lopez spent time in goal for the Blue and Orange, as Poole recorded two saves while Slazar-Lopez kept the Cougars from scoring once.
