FRESNO, Calif. -  The Fresno Pacific women's water polo team was tripped up to start the season, falling 19-5 at the hands of Fresno State on Saturday afternoon.
 
INSIDE THE MATCHUP:

HOW IT HAPPENED: 
·       The Bulldogs opened on a hot streak, outscoring Fresno Pacific 12-2 over the course of the first half. 
·       Katie Kisling and Dani Chastain each found the back of the net for FPU in the final three minutes. 
 
 STATS FROM THE GAME:  
·       Four different Sunbirds were credited with a score, while Madison Jacques added a pair of assists. 
·       Camryn Berra and Bailee Poole split team in the net, combining for a total of eight saves.
