FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno Pacific women's water polo team was hit with its' biggest loss of the season on Friday night, falling 19-6 to nationally-ranked Fresno State.

HOW IT HAPPENED:  

• Katie Kisling scored FPU's first goal of the night to cut an early deficit in half, but the Bulldogs answered with three goals in the final four minutes of the first quarter. 
• Amy Zaninovich gave the Sunbirds their only other score before the half, and FPU found themselves down 10-2 at the break.
• Kisling added her second score in the early part of the third, and freshmen Rosemary Chapman and Tatum Benson each found the back of the net in the second half.
• Madison Jacques gave the Sunbirds their final score of the night with 2:45 left to play, but the Blue and Orange were unable to climb out of the early hole.   

 
STATS FROM THE DAY:   

• Camryn Berra gave FPU seven saves in the cage, while Fresno State used three counterparts to total nine for the night.
