FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno Pacific women's water polo team was tripped up by Cal State East Bay on Saturday afternoon, falling 13-9 at Sunnyside Aquatics Center.  
 
INSIDE THE MATCHUP: 

• Final: CSUEB 13, FPU 9   
• Records: FPU (0-7), CSUEB (2-5)

HOW IT HAPPENED:  

• FPU scored the first goal of the game, but the Pioneers jumped out to a 6-3 lead to close out the first quarter. 
• Another big second quarter from CSUEB gave them an 11-5 lead at halftime. 
• Alex Jasso and Rosemary Chapman each gave the Sunbirds a goal in the third with Zaylynn Mangrum and Amy Zaninovich each scoring in the fourth to close out FPU's scoring.     

 
STATS FROM THE DAY:  

• Katie Kisling led FPU with three goals, while Jasso racked up four assits. 
• Camryn Berra picked up seven saves in the cage for the Sunbirds. 

 
BEYOND THE BOX:  

• The Sunbirds have dropped back-to-back games against CSUEB after winning the last two meetings last season.
