RIVERSIDE, Calif. – The Fresno Pacific women's water polo team was tripped up twice on Friday, dropping the weekend opener to Cal State Northridge by a final of 12-6 before falling to California Baptist 13-4 in the nightcap.

HOW IT HAPPENED: 
Cal State Northridge

• FPU and CSUN exchanged goals in the early going, with the Blue and Orange getting scores from Amy Zaninovich, Sam Witt and Katie Kisling in the first 11 minutes of the match. 
• The Matadors settled into a rhythm, outscoring FPU 6-3 the rest of the way. 

 
California Baptist:

• Lily Dinis scored the first goal of the evening, but CBU answered with seven straight goals of their own to close out the first half. 
• Witt and Kisling helped the Sunbirds close the gap late in the third quarter, but the Lancers outscored FPU 4-1 in the final chapter. 

 
STATS FROM THE DAY: 

• Witt finished her day with a team-high four goals for Fresno Pacific. 
• Camryn Berra totaled 22 saves in the cage after starting both games.
