HOW IT HAPPENED:
• The Sunbirds and the Colonials battled back and forth in the first half before heading into halftime tied at 6-6.
• With the match tied 8-8 in the third period, George Washington used a 3-0 run to take control of the game. FPU cut the deficit to 11-10 with a goal from
Emily Woodruff with 4:46 to play, but wouldn't come any closer the rest of the way.

Savannah Mangrum added two goals and an assist. Woodruff,
