After falling 18-6 to NCAA #6 Michigan earlier in the day, Fresno Pacific concluded the 2011 season with an exciting win at Pomona-Pitzer.

Nicolette Haley scored the game-winning goal for the Sunbirds with a hard outside shot.

"The younger girls really stepped up for the seniors and the seniors came to win," said coach Bryan Suhovy. "They continued to carry the momentum from yesterday into today and played like there was no tomorrow, never backing down. I'm proud of the seniors and everyone on the team. They continue to get better every day and season."

It was the first time in program history that the Sunbirds defeated Pomona. FPU finishes the season with a 10-25 record, playing a schedule that included multiple ranked teams at every NCAA Division.
