Basketball Senior Night tonight vs. Westmont

Fresno Pacific basketball will celebrate the careers of ten seniors who have been instrumental to the program's success on and off the court, tomorrow night when the men's and women's teams host Westmont, beginning at 5:30 pm.

Players will be honored immediately following the completion of the women's game.

Representing the women's team will be four-year players Brittany Baker, Michele Rebozzi and Jessica Torrecillas, as well as fellow seniors Kelly Thompson and Tineka Spencer.

The Sunbirds face the 23rd-ranked Warriors at 5:30 pm. Torrecillas, with two games remaining, is closing in on the 1,500-point milestone for her career. She enters the game at 1,470 and needs 24 points to tie former FPU star (and current assistant coach) Maurecia Crews (Clark) for second place on the all-time scoring list. Teresa Kamps is the all-time leader with 2,156 points.

Rebozzi is also closing in on some all-time marks, entering the game with 137 three-pointers made. She's currently sixth all-time, but could jump all the way to second by season's end, needing to pass Maurecia Clark (143), Erica John (144), Stacey Sedwick (147) and Kristin Hurt (148). Brooke Stanley holds career mark with 205.

The men's team will celebrate the careers of Kendall Holmes, Adam Kado, Jerante Morgan and Jordan Wild, as well as redshirt senior Craig Ash. Wild, the only four-year player of the group, will graduate as the winningest player in FPU men's basketball history and finish in the school's top-ten all-time leaders in rebounds (526) and steals (117).

The men's team takes on Westmont at 7:30 pm in a conference battle between the GSAC's #4 and 5 teams.
