Women's Soccer vs. #12 The Master's, 6 pm
Livestats

The Sunbirds have gone 2-0-1 in their last three games after dropping three straight. The team notched an important victory on Saturday in the GSAC opener, defeating Hope International 3-2 on the road. Freshman forward Mariah Alvidrez has scored six goals in the last three games to carry the Sunbird offense.

The Master's comes in with an 8-0-1 record and has won seven straight. The Mustangs have climbed to #12 in the latest national poll, released today, after a road victory at #16 Point Loma Nazarene on Saturday. The Mustang defense has been particularly strong, only allowing two goals all season and holding the Sea Lions without a shot on goal over the weekend.

A glance at the two team's opponents in common would seem to give an edge to the Mustangs. TMC defeated Roberts Wesleyan 4-0 and William Jessup 5-0 this season, while FPU lost to Roberts Wesleyan 3-0 and tied WJU.

Last season it was the Sunbirds coming out on top in a match in Santa Clarita. The Master's led for much of the game, but second half goals by Demi Hamilton and Ashley Sherr gave the Sunbirds a 2-1 win.

Volleyball vs. #10 Azusa Pacific, 7 pm
Livestats

FPU won its 55th straight match over the weekend, defeating #4 Concordia 3-1. Azusa Pacific meanwhile had all kinds of trouble with an unranked Vanguard team that the Sunbirds trounced a week before. APU had to fight off three match-points by the Lions to come away with a five-set victory.

That performance, coupled with a loss earlier in the week to #9 Biola, dropped the Cougars from #7 to #10 in the top 25 poll. APU is led by junior Whittany Radcliffe, who's averaging 4.11 kills per set, and junior libero Robin Portela (4.12 digs/set).

For the Sunbirds it's been Keke Wang with the hot-hand of late, totaling 33 kills in the last two matches. FPU will be going for its 120th consecutive home victory.
