Personal - Ashley was born and raised in Clovis, CA…She is the daughter of Rod and Rachel Sherr…She is the middle child of three, and older sister to teammate Amanda Sherr…Her favorite food is sushi...Her favorite TV show is "Friends"...She has traveled to New Zealand and Australia...Her hobbies include snowboarding, watching movies and going to the beach…Her home church is The Bridge...Ashley is a Business major...Her career goal is to work in a big marketing firm.
Prior to FPU - Ashley is a graduate of Fresno Christian High School...She played soccer all four years...She was League MVP for three years...In addition to soccer, Ashley was on the tennis and softball teams.
As a Freshman (2006) - Ashley appeared in all 17 of the Sunbirds' matches, including 15 starts…She registered 7 goals and 3 assists for a total of 17 points…She finished the year with a .143 shooting percentage (7-49).
As a Sophomore (2007) - Ashley appeared in all 17 of the Sunbirds' matches, including 12 starts...She registered 8 goals and 7 assists for a total of 23 points...She finished the year with a .160 shooting percentage (8-50)...She was named Offensive Player of the Year.
As a Junior (2008) - Ashley appeared in all 16 of the Sunbirds' matches, including 15 starts...She led the team in both goals and assists with 9 and 7, respectively...She racked up 25 points and took 72 shots, 26 of which were on goal...She finished the year with a .125 shot percentage...She was named Offensive Player of the Year...She also earned All-GSAC.
