As a Freshman (2010)- One of the team's top offensive threats in just her first year of college soccer, Alvidrez appeared in all 18 of the Sunbirds' games while starting all but one of them….She led the team in scoring with eight goals and was second on the team with 40 shots and 18 shots on goal….her offensive firepower was on full display in a 5-0 win over Menlo (9/15) as she scored a hat-trick (3 goals)....had another multi-goal game, scoring twice in a 3-2 victory at Hope International (9/25)….She also scored crucial goals in 1-1 ties against William Jessup (9/21) and again vs. Biola (10/20)....also scored in a 3-0 win at San Diego Christian (10/16).

Prior to FPU- Played four years, all on the varsity team, at Liberty High School in Bakersfield....Played forward for coach Lorne Howlett....Named All-League and All-Area in her freshman and junior seasons....Earned offensive MVP honors as a freshman and again as a junior....Also played volleyball for the Patriots, earning All-League, All-Area, team MVP and defensive MVP honors....Earned second team All-League status in softball....Named CIF Scholar Athlete of the Year.

Personal- Born December 30, 1991....Parents are Al and Maureen....Has a brother Josh and a sister Marissa....Person she most admires is her mom....Favorite food is ice cream....Favorite TV show is Pretty Little Liars....Favorite athlete is Derek Jeter....Attends Crossroads Church....Mariah is a sociology major with plans of going into governmental law enforcement.
