FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno Pacific (7-24) came up big with a decisive win over Fresno State. The Sunbirds led by as much as 11 before the game ended with a 14-5 victory for Fresno Pacific.
The Sunbirds led 9-1 at halftime, and continued to extand their lead in the second half. Dani Mortimer had one save and only allowed one goal in the first half. Jessica Esau came in for the second half and had four saves.
Borbala Toth led the Sunbirds with four goals while Katie Rayner had three goals.
“It was a good game to play as we head into this weekend,” commented Head Coach Bryan Suhovy.
This weekend the Sunbirds will take on CSU East Bay on Saturday, April 10 at Clovis East High School. The game will begin at 1 p.m.
