Coach
Bryan Suhovy commented, “We had some tough games today against some tough teams and they capitalized on our little mistakes. We are young and learning, but I'm proud of the growth we have made this season and we are moving in the right direction.”
UOP is currently ranked No. 16 in the nation including all NCAA Div. I, II, III and NAIA schools. UOP is the sixth nationally-ranked team the Sunbirds have face this season.
“We played two strong teams today and have played more NCAA ranked teams this season than we have in our past two seasons combined. It's been tough, but we're working hard and improving each week,” concluded Coach Suhovy.
The Sunbirds head to Davis to take on UC Davis and Harvard on Monday, March 15. Their first game against Davis begins at 1:30 p.m.
