HAYWARD, Calif. - Fresno Pacific (1-10) fought hard, but could not keep up with the CWPA 19th-ranked CSU East Bay (6-4). The Sunbirds fell 4-19 in the Pioneer Pool.
East Bay opened up an early 7-0 lead on the Sunbirds, and Fresno Pacific could not pull itself out of the hole the remainder of the game.

Jessica Esau had four saves for the Sunbirds.
The Sunbirds will look forward after their loss as they return home to take on Cal Baptist on Thursday, February 25. Fresno Pacific fell 2-11 in their last meeting, but will look the improve in this week's game. The first sprint will begin at 7 p.m.
