EL CAJON, CA -- No. 7-ranked Fresno Pacific dropped to 3-4 in the Golden State Athletic Conference after losing an 82-79 decision to San Diego Christian on Saturday.

The Sunbirds (13-4) pulled to within one point at 80-79 on a 3-point play by Alex Davenport with 16 seconds left, but SDCC's Tyler Mutton hit two free throws to ice the win.

Davenport led Fresno Pacific with 18 points and Todd Brown scored 17.

San Diego Christian (3-14, 1-6) shot 55 percent from the floor, including 58 percent (15 of 26) on 3-pointers.
