Women's basketball falls to Point Loma

Torrecillas scores 11 in GSAC loss

FRESNO, CA -- Fresno Pacific got 11 points from Jessica Torrecillas but fell to Point Loma Nazarene 75-50 Saturday in a Golden State Athletic Conference game at the Special Events Center.

The Sunbirds are 1-6 this season, 0-2 in the GSAC. Point Loma is 6-0 and 2-0.

Keri Stephanoff and Melissa Flores each scored eight points for the Sunbirds. Jessica Mazza and Brandi Blackwell each had 8 rebounds.
