Personal - Melissa was born in Oxnard, CA but calls Henderson, NV her home...She is the daughter of Eric and Vikki Moreno...She has three younger siblings...Her favorite foods are sushi and ice cream sandwiches...Her favorite book is "The Great Gatsby"...Her hobbies include bowling, watching movies, and spending time with her siblings...Her home church is St. Thomas Moore...Melissa is a Pre-Physical Therapy major...She plans to earn a master's degree and become a physical therapist someday.

Prior to FPU - Melissa is a graduate of Coronado High School...Her basketball coach was Joe Moyes...Her team finished first in the region in her junior year...She earned a McDonald's All-American nomination...She was also a Scholar-Athlete.

As a freshman (2006) - Melissa played in 31 games including 11 starts...She shot 56.9 percent from the line, grabbed 1.8 rebounds and averaged 5.3 points per game.

As a sophomore (2007) - Melissa played in 28 games including 7 starts...She shot 36.7 percent form the field and 78.3 percent from the line...She snatched 3.3 rebounds and averaged 7.8 points per game.

As a junior (2008) - Melissa played in 10 games including 1 start...She shot 43% from the field and 44% from behind the 3-point line...Melissa shot 60% from the free throw line, had 22 rebounds, and made 13 assists.
