FRESNO, Calif. – Following their incredible season, Fresno Pacific Track & Field continued to showcase its excellence in the classroom as the Sunbirds earned multiple USTFCCCA All-Academic honors. The women's program was recognized as a USTFCCCA All-Academic Team, while a total of 10 student-athletes from both teams received individual All-Academic honors.
Individually, student-athletes were required to maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.30 while also meeting the organization's athletic performance standards.
Six members of the men's team earned USTFCCCA All-Academic distinction: Jonathan Biffle (Business Administration), Chavez Grey (Biology), Dejan Mileusnic (Kinesiology), Monte Moore (Kinesiology), Shemar Palmer (Kinesiology), and Tevž Podlipnik (Kinesiology).
Four Lady 'Birds represented the women's program on the All-Academic list, including Iyanna Fuller (Communications), Kaylie Keenan (Kinesiology), Emma O'Neil (Biology), and Clara Wagner (Kinesiology).
Altogether, the Sunbird women posted a 3.06 team GPA to earn USTFCCCA All-Academic Team recognition. Programs must achieve the required cumulative team GPA while meeting additional USTFCCCA criteria to receive the honor.
