Gaby Ramirez ran a big PR and dipped under 22 minutes in the 6k for the first time to lead the squad. The women are doing a great job of coming together as a team and enjoying the process of improving together!"
On the men's side,
Julian Valdivia paced the Sunbirds with a 60th-place finish in 24:51.
Luke Sanders took 85th in 25:10, just ahead of
Dylan Devine in 88th at 25:15.

Diego Ochoa in 189th at 26:40 and
Sawyer Pugliese in 201st at 26:58.
"The men had a rough day with some unfortunately timed sicknesses and a fall by our lead runner in the race. They are hungry and looking forward for a chance to showcase their full potential at the upcoming championship meet in November."
The Sunbirds now turn their attention to the CCAA Cross Country Championships, where they'll look to build on their season's work and finish the conference campaign strong.
