AUSTIN, Texas- Fresno Pacific student athlete Dejan Mileusnic was voted to the 2025 Academic All-America® Division II Men's Track & Field/Cross Country Third Team, as selected by the College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced Wednesday morning.

To be eligible for this award, student-athletes must have earned at least a 3.50 grade-point average and have played in 70 percent of their team's total varsity contests / events while also having been named Academic All-District, which was announced three weeks ago.
 
The Division II men's track & field/cross country teams honored 45 student-athletes with 13 members of the first team holding perfect 4.00 GPAs. The 15 first team members have an average undergraduate GPA of 3.94. The NCAA Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures, which assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs

Mileusnic wrapped up a stellar career this academic year, with a a 3.74 GPA in Kinesology. In the field, Milesunic placed sixth in the javelin at the 2025 NCAA DII Track & Field Championships, earning him All-American honors for the second year in a row after coming in second at the 2024 championships last season. The Fresno Pacific school record holder in the javelin, this season Miluesnic set marks ranked 2nd in the west region and 4th in the national rankings. 

"It is a tremendous honor to be selected as an All-American in academia for Dejan," said head coach Robert Foster. "In his years here as a Sunbird, Mileusnic has been an exceptional athlete and student. I am so proud of Dejan for earning this honor and representing our university with excellence in athletics and academics."
