LOS ANGELES- Another school record fell and two more Sunbirds delivered top-20 performances during the Fresno Pacific Track and Field team's trip to the Oxy Invitational Saturday afternoon at the Bill Henry Track.

A partial roster made the trip down for one of the final opportunities to improve national marks and the Sunbirds capitalized on the opportunity.

Jacob Resendez bettered his time in the Men's 1500 while setting the Fresno Pacific school record in 3:48.37.
Â
Resendez was even better than his 2
nd place finish at the PacWest Championships from a week ago and lands in the top 50 in the country in the event.
Â
In the 400 m hurdles the Sunbirds had a pair climb up the performance lists as well.

Kalobe Jimenez time of 51.89 would put him 14
th in NCAA Division II before all of the other national results are reported.
Â
Jimenez is now 2
nd in Fresno Pacific history in the 400 hurdles.

Brianna Green won the hurdles on the women's side in the 400, posting a 1:01.67, vaulting to 4
th all-time in FPU history and cracking the top 25 of NCAA Division II.
Â
Fresno Pacific will have one final tune-up at Azusa Pacific next weekend before the NCAA DII National Championships in Pueblo, Colorado at the end of the month.
