Split Up 'Birds Still Soar in Two Meets

BULLDOG INVITE RESULTS | CARDINAL CLASSIC

FRESNO, Calif.-
While they were split up into two locations at the Cardinal Invite in Palo Alto and the Bulldog Classic in Fresno, the Fresno Pacific track and field team were certainly not divided as they continued the historic pace that included new record performances.
 
Kalobe Jimenez highlighted that group at the Cardinal Classic at Stanford Stadium winning the 110-m hurdles with a meet record and a personal best of 14.15.
 
Jimenez maintains his status as 2nd all-time in FPU history, improving upon his previous best from a couple weeks ago, and better the #5 mark in the nation this season.
 
He backed it up in the 200-m with a 21.73, another personal best, that slots him 8th all-time in program history.
 
Isaac Davis continued the fast pace in the 100-m dash, equaling his personal best of 10.65.
 
In the javelin, Dejan Mileusnic improved upon the FPU record and the top mark in NCAA Division II with a throw of 72.64-m, taking second place in the event filled with Division I opponents. Mileusnic's strong day included three throws that exceeded 70 meters.
 
Moe Bradley also continued his strong season in the shot put, finishing fourth with a mark of 16.11 meters.
 
On the women's side, the 4 x 100 relay ran a blazing 45.90 for 2nd place at the Cardinal Invite. Zara Anthony, Madison Flores, Brianna Green, and Ariana Vera now rank third all-time in FPU history and delivered a season best performance for the group.
 
Flores finished 2nd in the 400 meter dash, posting her best time this season at 54.21, the top mark in the NCAA DII.

Brianna Green entered the FPU record books with a time of 56.39 in the same event, entering the top-ten at 7th all-time.
 
Zara Anthony delivered her best career performance in the 200-meter with a time of 24.79 and becomes the 9th fastest in Fresno Pacific history.
 
Elizabeth Naranjo achieved a personal record of 40.26 in the hammer throw, delivering a strong performance for the Sunbirds.
 
Back in Fresno, Jesse Franco won the hammer throw at the Bulldog Classic by delivering a lifetime best of 57.30 and slots him 3rd in school history in the event.
 
Calvin Abbott finished 2nd in the 3000 meter while Alexa Queenan ran a lifetime best in the 1500 meter with a 4:53.51 to earn her way onto the top-ten list.
 
Nikki Crouch came in 2nd in the pole vault with a season best mark of 3.79 meters.
 
Fresno Pacific returns together at the Cal Poly Invite in San Luis Obispo beginning on Friday.
