SAN DIEGO, Calif. – The Fresno Pacific track and field teams put together a strong final day at the PacWest Conference Championships on Saturday, taking second place in both the men's and women's team scoring while also setting multiple personal and school records in the process.
 
WOMEN'S TOP FINISHERS

• Kyla Richardson set new marks in both the 100- and 200-meter dashes. She won the 100-meter at 11.31 and followed that with a 23.12 in the 200 meter to win that as well.
• Danae Manibog Gatewood took home the 400 meter, positing a time of 53.63. She was followed by Madison Flores, who finished second with a time of 53.90.
• In the 4x100 relay, Manibog Gatewood, Richardson, Flores and Chloe Sharp posted a meet record of 44.92 to win the race.
• On Friday, Alicia Garcia posted a PR of 44.78 meters in the javelin throw, which finished second in the event and was the 14^th best throw in NCAA DII this season.
• Nikki Crouch took a second-place finish in the pole vault on Friday after clearing a mark of 3.80. Kristi Yorke finished fourth in the event.
• In the triple jump, Xiamara Young took second place after posting a PR of 12.76 meters.
• Maesyn Rix finished fourth in the hammer throw with a toss of 42.61 meters and fifth in the shot put with 12.17 meters.
• Gianna Dickson finished fourth in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 14.49 and fifth in the 400-meter hurdles at 1:04.23.

 
MEN'S TOP FINISHERS

• Isaac Davis set a new PR and meet record in the 100-meter dash, finishing at 10.37. He also finished second in the long jump on Friday, clearing a mark of 7.15 meters.
• Bryan Banuelos topped the leaderboard in the 5,000 meter, setting a meet record of 14:51.96 in the win.
• Moe Bradley took first place in the shot put, winning the event with a throw of 16.36 meters. Jesse Franco finished just behind with a toss of 15.71 meters. Bradley took second place in the discus at 49.28 meters, and Franco took second in the hammer throw at 49.80 meters.
• Brett Lombardi collected plenty of hardware over the weekend. He won the javelin throw on Friday at 57.89 meters, finished second in the pole vault at 4.60 meters, and took third in the 400-meter hurdles at 54.32.
• Toby Bartlett took the crown in the decathlon, finishing with 5,191 points. He won half the events in the decathlon.
• Xavier Smith took second place in the 10,000 meter on Friday, finishing with a time of 30:38.15, which was a meet record.
• Davis, Zavian Cook, Mark Smith and Bartlett finished third in the 4x100 with a time of 41.80.
• Daniel Binns, Stewart Fernandez, Bo Olson and Cook were able to take third place in the 4x400 with a time of 3:16.04.
