Sunbirds Shine at Cal Poly Invite

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – Members of the Fresno Pacific University track and field teams took on the Cal Poly Invite on Friday and Saturday as Moe Bradley won two events, while Nikki Crouch earned an NCAA Provisional in the pole vault.

MEN'S TOP FINISHERS

Zavian Cook blitzed the 200-meter dash, taking third with a time of 22.35.
Bo Olsen was solid in the 800-meter run, clocking in at 1:53.33 for a third-place finish.
Jacob Resendez took third in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 3:57.98 while teammate Xavier Smith followed in fourth.
Cullin Bates won the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.04, while Tamar Archie finished second in the same race.
Bates, Kaden Bolton, Daniel Binns, and Olsen took second in the 4x400-meter with a time of 3:15.35.
Isaac Davis won the long jump with a mark of 22'10" while Adrian Hodges took second in the event.
Hodges went 47'11.75" in the triple jump, winning the event while Davis took second.
Bradley owned shot put, boosting a throw of 54'11.25".
- Bradley earned another NCAA Provisional in the event win.
Bradley also won the discus, throwing 157'5".

WOMEN'S TOP FINISHERS

Gianna Dickson won the 100-meter hurdles, finishing the race in 14.37.
Crouch took fourth in the pole vault, clearing 12'5.5".
- The mark was good enough for an NCAA Provisional.
Xiamara Young checked in with a mark of 18'0.25" in the long jump for a second-place finish.
Hope Erwin nabbed second in the shot put with a mark of 38'8.25".

The Sunbirds take on the West Coast Relays on April 1-2, hosted by Fresno State.
