FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno Pacific University track and field teams hosted their only home meet of the year, as they celebrated their seniors and set high marks early in the season.
QUOTABLE
"I had the chance to honor the greatest graduating class in the history of our women's program by far. Five school records and countless other top 10 all-time marks stood on the middle of the track and received their orange baton, and I was trying to process not only the talent that stood before me but also the journey of transformation and maturity in mind, body, and spirit among those women. We also are sending off an incredible group of leaders in our men that includes a school record holder, and multiple team captains. I'm just grateful that all these athletes will be with us for the rest of the season as we chase greatness together. There certainly has never been a group of graduates that better represents everything we strive to be about in this program." – head coach
