Chantel Montayre,
Lauren Ornbaun and
Mikayla Kennedy prior to Saturday afternoon's match against Concordia. The Eagles spoiled the Sunbirds party 3-0 (25-21, 25-13, 25-15).

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Sunbirds battled the Eagles to a 16-16 tie in the first set before the visitors pulled away late for a 25-21 set win.
- The second set belonged to CUI as they handled FPU 25-13.
- An early run in the third set led to a 25-15 set win and 3-0 match win for the Eagles.
STATS FROM THE GAME
- Makena Ogas led the Sunbirds with 11 kills on a sky-high .474 hitting percentage.
- Montayre led the team with 17 digs.
- Catie Speas handed out 27 assists over three sets.
