FRESNO, Calif. – Makena Ogas was all over the floor and the stat sheet for the Fresno Pacific University volleyball team during their match against Biola on Friday afternoon, but the Eagles withstood the performance to take the match 3-1 (25-20, 25-13, 16-25, 25-20) over the Sunbirds.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Sunbirds opened the first set with a 4-0 run.
- The set was tied at 17 when the Eagles ripped off an 8-3 run to seal the set 25-20.
- BU cruised to a 25-13 second set victory.
- Anastassiya Barakhoyeva had a kill that sparked a 16-6 run for the Sunbirds as they earned a 25-16 set win over the Eagles.
- A lengthy run in the middle of the fourth set led to the Eagles taking it 25-20 and the match 3-1.
STATS FROM THE GAME
- Ogas was incredible for the Sunbirds, smashing 13 kills on an astronomical .370 hitting percentage. Ogas added seven digs, four total blocks and three aces to a spectacular night.
- Corinne Acosta led the team with 17 kills while adding 13 digs.
- The offense ran through Catie Speas, who dished out 37 assists.
