CHICO, Calif. – The Fresno Pacific baseball team was tripped up on Friday, falling 14-7 at the hands of West Region powerhouse Chico State. Junior

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Chico State started the scoring with two unearned runs in the first inning before a Tyler Stofiel double gave the Wildcats a 3-0 lead in the second.

- The Sunbirds scratched across the three final runs of the game in the top of the eighth with back-to-back-to-back hits from Haden Haynes, Trent Greene and Nick Dodd.
