As a Redshirt Junior (2021) - Appeared in 38 games for the Sunbirds … made 37 starts … accumulated a batting average of .265 … on-base percentage of .386 … slugging percentage of .348 … had 35 hits including four doubles, two triples and a home run … drove in 20 runs ... had four hits against Holy Names (4/09) … drove in three runs against Academy of Art (4/17)...earned Academic All-PacWest Honors...

As a Redshirt Junior (2020) - Appeared in and started 22 games for the Sunbirds … accumulated a batting average of .289 … on-base percentage of .354 … slugging percentage of .356 … had 26 hits including two doubles and two triples … drove in six runs … stole seven bases … recorded four hits against Chico State (2/08) … drove in two runs against Western Oregon (2/15) … awarded the Birdie for Male Sunbird of the Year … earned Academic All-PacWest Honors …

As a Redshirt Sophomore (2019) - Appeared in 33 games for the Sunbirds, including 31 starts in center field....FPU's leading hitter with a .348 batting average....tripled against Holy Names (3/23) and #25 Azusa Pacific (4/25)....scored winning run against Academy of Art on Jared Aguilar's walk-off single (5/7) had six three-hit games....stole five bases in seven attempts....drove in 12 runs....recorded three outfield assists....named Academic All-PacWest.

As a Sophomore (2018) - Appeared in five games for the Sunbirds before a season-ending injury....hit .313 with three steals....named Academic All-PacWest. 

As a Freshman (2017) - Appeared in 40 games with 39 starts....led the team with a .333 average....went 3-for-3 in collegiate debut against Stanislaus State (2/4)....third on the team with 37 runs scored....third on the team with 51 hits....stole nine bases in 12 attempts....had 15 multi-hit games, including seven with three or more....added three outfield assists....went 4-for-5 with three runs scored against Concordia (3/24)....named PacWest Freshman of the Week after going 6-for-16 in FPU's series against Dixie State (4/4)....hit first career home run against Academy of Art (4/21)....hit first career triple in win over Holy Names (4/28)....named All-PacWest Third Team selection....named Academic All-PacWest.

Prior to FPU - A graduate of Reedley High School....played three years of varsity baseball under head coach Russel Sauceda....named League MVP....Fresno Easter Classic MVP....also played water polo.

Personal - Son of Karl and Stephanie Warkentin....most admires his father....favorite TV show is The Office....favorite team is the San Francisco Giants....majoring in kinesiology....has three siblings, Courtney, Megan and Ryan.
