About the Sunbirds (18-9, 14-7 PacWest)
Fresno Pacific saw a three-game win streak come to a close on Saturday evening in San Diego, falling to a red-hot Point Loma team by a final of 69-59.
Bree Alvarez and
Jessica Malazarte combined for 29 points in the loss, and each still ranks in the top ten on the PacWest Conference leaderboard in scoring. FPU's offense has averaged just north of 75 points per game this season, ranking third in the league.

About the Hawks (3-24, 3-18 PacWest)
Holy Names will look to break a five-game losing skid after committing 18 turnovers against Dominican in San Rafael last Saturday evening. Ariana Hernandez led the Hawks in scoring with 14 points, while Onjalise Carley-Hilliard followed with 12 of her own. The latter enters play this week as the conference leader in field goal percentage, knocking down 51.6% of her attempts from the floor.
HNU pulled out a three-point win in a defensive battle in Oakland earlier this season, but the Sunbirds maintain a 20-10 lead in the all-time series. Alvarez gave the Blue and Orange a game-high 26 points the last time the 'Birds and Hawks met, while Pisik rounded out a double-double with 11 points and 16 boards.
