- About the Warriors (3-0-1)
After five straight seasons with at least 16 wins, Westmont has gotten off to a hot start yet again in 2018, scoring 12 goals over its' first four games. Like FPU, the Warriors have been attack-minded, taking as many as 21 shots in a game already this fall. Junior forward Avalon Albright has highlighted the Westmont attack early, tallying four scores and an assist to lead the Golden State Athletic Conference in points.
Westmont claims a 10-2 advantage in the all-time series, but both of FPU's wins have come in Fresno. The Sunbirds and Warriors have not met since FPU made the leap to the NCAA ranks ahead of the 2012 season.

Adriana Maldonado made six saves against the Trailblazers, including a spectacular stop in the second half on a point-blank effort that kept the game at 1-0. Cal State LA has spread the ball around well this season, as each goal has come from a different player.
The two squads have met just once previously, when the Golden Eagles picked up a 3-1 victory in Los Angeles last season. Paulina Chaidez recorded a hat trick, while Reynolds was credited with the first goal of her career.
