FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno Pacific baseball team will play at home for the final time this season, hosting California Baptist in a four-game series beginning on Thursday night. The Sunbirds will honor the 2018 senior class prior to the series finale on Saturday afternoon.

• The Sunbirds dropped just their second league series of the year last weekend, falling three games to one against Dixie State on the road.
• The heart of the Sunbird order got the job done against the Trailblazers, as Braden Frankfort and Hunter Villanueva combined to hit .364 with 12 RBI and seven extra base hits on the series. 
• Villanueva became just the seventh player in program history to reach 150 career hits, and he enters this week tied for the program's single-season home run record.

• The Lancer pitching staff has ranked among the best in the league for the bulk of the season, pitching to a collective 2.47 earned run average to date.  
• Second baseman Luke Navigato was named the PacWest Player of the Week after going 8-for-17 with six runs, seven RBI and three runs against the Eagles.
