‘Birds Visit Point Loma This Weekend

FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno Pacific baseball team is set for a four-game PacWest Conference series this weekend, taking on longtime rival Point Loma in San Diego.

About Fresno Pacific (16-22, 13-19 PacWest)
• The Sunbirds had a rough series against Concordia last weekend, dropping both the first two games by just one run and mustering just two hits in the finale after taking Game 3 11-5.
Hunter Villanueva set a new program record with his 11th home run of the season on Saturday, while Eddie Sievers has now reached base in a team-high 20 straight games.
Thomas Camargo, Carson Schellenberg, and Tyler Rumbaugh combined for just one earned run over 21.0 innings of work out of the Sunbird bullpen.
