FRESNO, Calif. – Fresno Pacific couldn't slow down Hawai'i Pacific on Saturday, as the Sunbirds fell 86-66 in PacWest play despite 
Sam Burt delivering 20 points.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
• The Sunbirds were held to 1-of-10 from deep in the opening half and trailed 42-30 at the intermission.
• FPU then shot 47 percent from the floor in the second, but HPU kept pace offensively to keep the 'Birds at bay and earn the road win.
 
STATS OF THE GAME:
• Burt's 20 points marked a game high. He also added four rebounds, two assists, one block and a steal for FPU.
• 
Sam Holmes added 12 points on four threes, 
Aamondae Coleman totaled 10 points and nine rebounds and 
Adrian Antunez chipped in with nine points and seven assists for the Sunbirds.
• HPU out-rebounded FPU 43-26 and also benefited from 33 points off the bench.
• Niksha Federico, the PacWest leader in scoring and rebounding, finished with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
 
BEYOND THE BOX:
• Burt has now totaled seven 20-point efforts on the season.
• The seven assists from Antunez marked a career best.
