AZUSA, Calif. – Fresno Pacific couldn't keep up with league-leading Azusa Pacific on Friday in PacWest action. The Sunbirds fell 3-0 in Azusa as the Cougars stayed atop the conference standings.

• The Sunbirds struggled to find any rhythm offensively as they were held under .100 hitting as a team for the match.
• Down 2-0 in the match, FPU played the third set tight and trailed 14-12. A 7-3 run from the Cougars sealed the Sunbirds' fate, however, as APU earned the sweep at home.Â
