HAYWARD, Calif. – The Fresno Pacific men's soccer team picked up a late goal on Thursday evening to hold on for a 1-0 victory over Holy Names. The Sunbirds have now won three straight for the second time this season and improve to 6-1-1 with the victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
• The Sunbirds and Hawks exchanged opportunities in the first half, but neither team was able to find the back of the net.
• A corner kick allowed the Blue and Orange to break through in the game's 81st minute, and FPU held Holy Names without a shot for the final nine.

Jose Vargas in the box for the eventual game-winner.
