Sunbirds Host Trailblazers in Season’s Final Home Game

FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno Pacific men's soccer team will play just one game this week, hosting Dixie State in the home finale on Thursday evening.

About Fresno Pacific (5-9-9, 4-5-0 PacWest)
Fellipe Souza comes into Thursday's match as the reigning PacWest Player of the Week after recording four goals last week, including his first career hat trick. Souza tossed in an assist to total nine points in two games.
• With one more score, Anthony Velarde would become the second Sunbird in as many years to record at least 10 goals and 10 assists in a season. Jorge Chedraui did so last year, leading FPU in total points for the third time in his career.
• The Blue and Orange have been attack-minded for the bulk of the season, outshooting their opponents 231-185. Eleven Sunbirds have found the back of the net this season.

• The Trailblazers have won four of their last five, with the lone loss coming last Saturday in overtime against Point Loma.
• Most recently, DSU came away with a victory in the waning moments against Holy Names on Thursday night. Moises Medina recorded the game-winner with just 22 seconds remaining for his team-best 11th score of the season.

The Series

• Last season in Utah, Medina earned the game-winner in the 85th minute.
